The NEW RF Parts Company, 3-500ZG tubes are the most rugged tubes of this type available. This new tube is an improvement of our RF PARTS Co. 3-500ZG, first offered in 1993.

All tubes receive a "Burn In" period at our facility in San Marcos, CA. During this process, each tube's characteristics are stabilized.

In addition, each tube goes through a rigorous process of Electrical Testing, to verify its durability. The RF Parts Company 3-500ZG combines the best features of both Eimac and Amperex. As is indicative of the design and the quality of the Amperex 3-500Z tube, the extra thick glass, strong Anode support stem and Anode connection is fused into the glass. The Large Graphite Anode, Filament, and Grid of the 3-500ZG are virtually the same as Eimac's last Graphite Version of 1996.

New in the design is the addition of the ceramic pin base that disperses heat away from filament pins for improved socket life. The 3-500ZG is interchangeable with the Eimac 3-500Z version.
