Marantz 2325, holy grail, fully restored with one year warranty

  

If you are a vintage audio collector and are looking at this, you probably do not need a lot of background on this 125 watt a side marantz top of the line monster, one of the most sought after vintage receivers ever made. You probably also know how hard a working unit is to find and how much restored units go for.

I just had this unit restored by Stereo Rehab, which is pretty universally thought of by folks in the know as the best vintage tech in the area. If you are familiar with their work, you know that they do not put their name on anything unless it is perfect functionally. The unit is functionally as good or better than the day it came off the factory floor. It needs nothing, I repeat nothing, done to it, to sound it's best.

A full breakdown of the restoration is available for serious buyers. In my opinion, this sort of restoration of vintage Marantz receivers is pretty worthwhile and I've found an improvement in their sound, even more so than comparable Pioneer, Sansui, and other units. Cosmetically the unit is very good shape but it does show small signs of it's age. At some point it took a bump to its lower left corner and some of the push buttons and face show small scratches - you would have to have your nose right up against the receiver to see them, but they are there and I've tried to show all these in the photos.
