Pioneer Sx-1050 Fully Pro Rebuild/recap, Near Mint One Owner! 2 Year Warranty

It is in near mint condition cosmetically, and it has been Professionally rebuilt by me personally, a service tech that has done rebuilds on over 30 different models of Pioneer, Sansui, and Marantz Receivers. I have done nearly 80 Pioneer units in the last 3 years, and at least 80 others. In fact, I have been so busy with rebuilds for clients last year or so that this is one of the rare times I actually have unit for sale, and it is a fine one! This SX-1050 sounds incredible, like all of my rebuilds. This unit is as close to "New" as they come. If you have been looking for an SX-1050, this might be the unit for you! The only cosmetic issue is the clear lamp diffuser is slightly broken at the screw hole on right side, picture 20.

Please look at all pictures to determine cosmetic condition, and consider them part of the verbal description. Have rebuilt the Power Supply, crucial to the future longevity of unit, with all new TO-220 size transistors, and routinely replace several of the smaller xors that I have seen fail in previous units. All other boards have been recapped, except the FM board. I use Nichicon Fine Gold Audio Caps on Flat Amp, Control Amp, EQ/Phono Pre-Amp, and.

Of course Power Amp Board. I do not recap the FM board, thus I call it a partial recap. I also routinely replace all of the noisy SA726 and SC-1313 transistors on all boards. I do not always replace the 80v 22000uf filter caps on SX-1050's, they aren't exposed to the kind of heat and wear that you see on SX-1250.

These are in excellent shape, no nippling, no sign of any leakage or other flaw. DC Offset and Bias are set to factory, pictures 21-24.

Panel lamps have been replaced, and the Speaker One and FM indicator lamp have been replaced as well. Power output: 120 watts per channel into 8 (stereo). Frequency response: 10Hz to 50kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 0.1%.
